InfoDesign serves as a forum for moderated discussions about information design issues. You will recognize InfoDesign messages by the prefix 'InfoD:' at the beginning of the subjectline. * What is Information Design? Information design is the art and the science of presenting information so that it is understandable and easy to use: effective, efficient and attractive. * What are the core skills and knowledge? Information design involves knowledge and skills in various areas, such as graphic design, psychology, language, typography, diagramming, and user-testing. * What are typical examples of products? Instructions for use, signs, public information systems, infographics, computer interfaces, web sites, forms, educational materials, reference books, maps, charts and diagrams, product labeling, instructional textbooks. To post a message to all the list members, send email to infodesign@list.InformationDesign.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to InfoDesign
Subscribe to InfoDesign by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
