Sorry to take so long to respond, but I've only just now had a
chance to check this out.

FWIW, I agree.

VizThink did a very nice job of this (and gave me plenty to think
about ... ;-).


On a related note: I just stumbled across an alternative model of
video podcast interviewing at "Big Think - We Are What You Think"

Ordinarily, I don't watch video podcasts (even with my new fast
Internet connection, I can probably still count the total number
of Web-based videos I've viewed on both hands!) but I was
intrigued enough by Ari Melber's description of Big Think as a
"YouTube for the Harvard set"

to actually visit and see for myself.

In my judgment, the Big Think format has real limitations when it
comes to transmitting "Big Ideas": I found the community
environment unappealing, and the discourse too fragmented and
somewhat superficial.

I expect my prejudices are showing here (video is not my
preferred medium for philosophizing), but I do wonder if the Big
Think Web 3.0 model is at fault, too.
